RE: Barrister Mary Agbajoh Carpets Uduaghan’s Administration Seeks
Better Leadership in 2015.

It was just few hours to departure while coxing at the VIP LOUNGE
awaiting the arrival of the Bombadier CRI-900ER Jet which happens to
be our Transporter for the afternoon. At this point in time we were
engrossed in rare admiration of the Massive Transformation Work at the
newly remodeled Airport and its State of the Art Facilities when an
online publication caught my attention.

At the initial i was dazed beyond comprehension at the deteriorating
trend of Journalism in Nigeria and how much some persons choose to
acquire cheap publicity for themselves in order to cause an
unwarranted stir and maybe attention as they wholly desire.
It became so imperative and necessary to bring her attention into this
for some well obvious and factual reasons. Yes, she was sitting right
beside me and i had to beckon. “Ma’am take a look at this”, like the
taciturn and phlegmatic lady i have always known her for she smiled
even with a bemoaning remark. Though i had anticipated a harsh
reaction for such a derogatory publication.


Over the Years i have come to admire and appreciate her true
doggedness in the salvage of our Democracy and the promotion of Good
Governance despite the hurdles and travails witnessed in the polity.
It dated back since 2007 when i first encountered one of her numerous

publications on one of our National Dailies (SUNDAY SUN). Her unprecedented Love

for the Niger Delta region and her unflinching support for justice
earned her the title as the PRINCESS OF THE NIGER DELTA. As she

convened the GOODLUCK INITIATIVE (Gi07) Group since 2007, where she
played a passionate role as the Initiator/National Coordinator of this

solidarity movement aimed at bringing justice and real-time Democracy to

Niger Deltans hence she portrayed her unflinching and unwavering support for the Jonathan/Sambo ticket 2011.

That brings us to the issue in discourse as the Mary Oyibocha Agbajoh
i know is a consistent fellow of the PDP and a strong believer of the
Uduaghan led Government which she believes is there to Conceptualize,
Consolidate and Transform Delta State to a desired level for the
benefit of all Deltans. An administration that is working in strong
alignment with the President Jonathan’s TRANSFORMATION AGENDA to bring
the dividends of Democracy to all and sundry.

Her reaction and comment that was quoted was meant to lead Deltans on
the right candidate for the 2015 Guber Elections for the desired
continuity and not to state her disloyalty to the Uduaghan led
government as quoted by some media sources.

Let me assume the brain behind this publication was borne out of
complete misunderstanding and misconception of the terms and
terminology used by the Learned Barrister and as such the pen of our
over zealous writer let loose.

As at the time of this publication Barr. Mary Oyibocha Agbajoh (PNM),
is still a registered and bonafide member of the great People’s
Democratic Party and also a party and supporter of the Uduaghan’s led
government.
